Sir David Storey lived at Sherbrooke, 20 Coogee Bay Road, built ca. 1902 and it was
occupied by the Storeys until the death of Ruby in 1967. It was demolished in 1970.

Miss Ruby Storey was a foundation member of the Red Cross Society and was awarded the Florence Nightingale medal in 1949

Lady Storey (d. 1940), the daughter of a Scottish sea captain, married David Storey in 1883. She was President of Randwick Red Cross, and worked for Randwick Presbyterian church, various youth groups and schools

George Kiss, Mayor of Randwick 1878 built his house Ventor in Avoca Street in 187-. He had a horse bazaar in Pitt/George Streets, Sydney.

Sir David Storey was a director of the Society for the Relief of Destitute Children from 1903 ... and he took a keen interest in its Randwick asylum, so this photograph is possibly of their school.
