    1. `Macquarie Harbour from the East / T.J. Lempriere delt. 1835'. Watercolour. 9.8 x 16.8 cm. Signed and dated at lower left. Titled below image.
    2. `Garden Island by H.D. Sen.'. Pencil. 15.3 x 24.3 cm. Initialled `H.D. Sen.' and titled at lower left in Sir William Dixson's hand.
    3. `St. George's Bay / March 1862 / E.W.B.' at lower right. Watercolour. 18.5 x 27 cm. A pencil note below the picture on the original mount, in Sir William Dixson's hand reads `? Boulton.' although Boulton's initials are different. Attempts to locate St. George's Bay were inconclusive.
    4. `Geelong 30th May 1854. Eugen von Guerard'. Ink and watercolour. 15.9 x 26.1 cm. Signed at lower right, dated and titled at lower left. On verso is an unidentified pencil sketch of a river scene.
    5. `Gentlemen Convicts - The Centipede'. Unsigned. Dated `1830' on the verso. Titled below image. On the verso is a note in Sir William Dixson's hand which reads `by Lempriere, T.J. Deputy Assistant Commissary General.'
    6. `Aborigines, Van Diemens Land'. Pencil. 11.8 x 17.1 cm. Unsigned. Dated `1830' on verso. Titled below image.

    12. `Sketch from lower end of George St. / June 12/36'. Pencil. 19.9 x 30.4 cm. Unsigned. Dated and titled at lower left. `Sydney' written in ink below image. A note on the back in ink in similar hand to title reads `This sketch is the property of Harry Curtis. Korroongarra. Queensland.' Comparison with other sketches of Robert Russell's in his `Sketches in and near Sydney' (ML ref. PXA 71) indicate that this sketch is probably his work.

    27. `G.P.O. Flinders St, Melbourne, / J.L. 1838'. Watercolour. 22.4 x 35.5 cm. Signed and dated at lower right. Titled on the back in Sir William Dixson's hand.
    28. [Rural scene]. Pencil. 22.4 x 28.3 cm. A pencil note on the left side of the original mount, in Sir William Dixson's hand, reads `On same page was one by Bennett, but no reason to connect them'. Comparison with other sketches by Martens at DL PX 24 indicates that this is probably his work.
